The founder of Woodson Vision For Children Foundation, Inc., Roseline Meekie Swaray-Peal is driven by a deep commitment to creating meaningful change in the lives of children and families. With a heart for service and a strong belief in the power of guidance and opportunity, the organization was established to address gaps in education, mentorship, and emotional support. This vision is rooted in firsthand experiences of seeing how compassion, encouragement, and consistent care can shape a child’s confidence and future. Through thoughtful leadership and a purpose-driven approach, the foundation continues to grow as a trusted source of hope and empowerment within the community.
Guided by integrity, empathy, and a passion for advocacy, the founder remains actively involved in shaping programs that prioritize children’s well-being in every decision. Their leadership style emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and meaningful community partnerships, ensuring that each initiative reflects the organization’s mission and values. By leading with compassion and purpose, the foundation is continually inspired to create lasting impact and open doors of opportunity for the next generation.
She was inspired by the work of her late grandparents Matilda Amelia Jackson Woodson & George W. D. Woodson; natives of Careysburg, Liberia, who settled in Todee in the early 1950s, as missionary Evangelists & Educators. There were neither schools nor churches in the community where they resided. Their mission was dual; spiritual evangelism & providing quality primary education to under privileged children. They established Nyehn #2 school & registered it as a public institution to be supervised by the government. They also operated a church & a boarding home for Children. A mission they upheld for more than 3 decades before the Civil war that destroyed most of Liberia. The Woodson Vision For Children Foundation (WVFCF) seeks to continue the vision & mission of Matilda & George Woodson. We will identify projects, raise funds & implement those projects in the interest of Children in Liberia & the world, who choose to access the school, boarding facilities, church & clinic that this foundation is set to operate.
